92 hatch ls vtec cel problem

92 hatch ls vtec cel problem
i have a 92 hatch with an ls vtec swap ls block gsr head i have chipped p28 ecu and just the other day the cel came on but wen i tried to check the code it doesnt give one it jus kind of flickers on and stays on and wen i put a pin the ecu plug the light turns off. do i have an ecu problem or is there a short in the wires somewhere?
