i took out my car out for a drive and im havin issues gettin past 1st gear...
im bout a shell from a friend and i bought a 96ls and installed a 94ls harness and bout a ecu computer for a 95ls, and when i took it out for a drive las nite it would not let me get pasted 1st gear, and when i floor it a lil it will boogle..
i dnt know if it mite be the computer or the clutch. has any1 expierenced something similar to this? if any1 has or knows my problem plz let me know..

I assume this is an auto. You installed an OBD1 harness on an OBD2 vehicle. I have no idea if the auto transmissions have differences for ODB. I would look there first.

 

no its 5speed..but when i do shift to 2nd the mph wont raise it jus starts booglin and wuld have to find a certain position in the gas peddle to make it stop bogglin..and yes i have a obd1 harness but i have obd1 dizzy and alternator on the obd2 engine..
ok ill check if the trans obd makes any diff, but lets say the trans was no good would it have the same symptoms? or would a bad trans act diffrent..
the reason i asked is becasue i bought that trans wit the car cause i was told it was n good shape but i didnt check it b4 installin?(huge mistake)...cause now i wondering it the trans is good...

 

A manual transmission is not affected by the OBD. Are your MAP and TPS plugs reversed? Any cels?

 

ok.. i been tryin to search a wiring diagram so i can know i have them n the right place on this site but i cant find it.. i wouldnt doubt that theyre reversed. u wuld happen to have a website where it shows me wat connections go where do u??
yea i have a orange check engine light.. i thought that was the only cel integra had? or am i wrong..?

 

Pull the codes for the CEL. See the FAQ thread for an instruction link.

Go to www.alldata.com they have a small charge of 16 bucks [I] think, but you can download the wiring diagrams from there...Very good site, I use them all the time at work!

hey u dnt happen to know they also have posted a pic sample of a ls harness with the names of whats its for so i can put the right connection in the right place tomorrow when i check my cel's
