92 integra turbo ?
Im new to the Honda/Acura area. Just acquired a 92 teg , with a turbo kit (came with the car). Installed it last week, unsure of the trim on the turbo, Walboro 255 fuel pump, has RC 440 injectors. Do i need to add resistors? Been Trying to do all the reading I can on what to do. Will the stock ECU handle 7-8psi of boost? Can anyone give me a little direction on ways to go? Thanks for your input.
Depending on the injectors you have, but the 92 Integra still had a resistor box, so you wouldn't need to. The stock ecu will not be able to compensate fuel/timing for that amount of boost. There's lots of good information on here, search.

when chipping a ecu for a turbo set up, are ecu chips pretty much the same? I seen a few on ebay for a pr4 integra ecu (spoon, mugen). Or would it be better to get custom one burned?
you must have a custom one burned. This is not like Naturally Aspirated setups that just do general enhancements in fuel enrichment and timing sets.

If you're looking for an ECU to run your setup, the easiest way is by going to the Marketplace and finding one of the "gurus." I have bought from John Kerr (j-k-tuning.com), Xenocron and Pherable. They are all great people to deal with...go chat with one of them about your goals and ECU needs. They'll set you up

At what time do you need to run a resistor? I have read in some places to add a resistor on the injector wiring to the injectors. I have RC 440's, are they saturated or non saturated? My car is OBD1
You need resistors or a resistor box if you have low impedance injectors. If you don't know what yours are, put a multimeter across the injectors and see if the resistance is around 2-5 ohms they are peak & hold (low resistance) and need resistors, if they are around 12-16 ohms, then they are saturated (high resistance) and don't need resistors.
92-93 integra's are OBD1. more than likely 10X out of 10 you have 440cc Saturated injectors and don't need a resistor box(RC doesn't make 440cc in P/H). you'll only need a resistor box when using peak and hold injectors. look on the side of them and check the etched letters and numbers. it should say SL4-440 or SL2-440 or something like that. the "S" for saturated.
Thanks for the info guys, the guy who had my car before me ran the turbo kit without getting everything setup. Took off the kit, put it in the trunk and traded me for my toyota 4x4. He said everything was good to go, so i bolted the kit on and barely got .5 bar of boost , it started to run rough and smoke heavy, no compression in one cylinder. Tore it apart and #4 piston ringland is burnt. Will stock 20 over pistons be suiteable for 8 to 10lbs boost?
