Default P30 ecu help!

I bought this car(Ls Vtec DA gsr head ) without the knock sen. connected and no harness plug for the O2 sen. The guy I bought the car from states the P30 ecu is chipped, My question is; If the computer is chipped to eliminate the knock and o2 sens why do I have a check engine light of code 10(o2 sen.) ?? should I wire up an O2 sen. ?? what should I do?

If its chipped for no o2 then that code should not pop up. You can either get the ecu re-chiped, add a o2 sensor. Best bet is to get the car tuned and be on your way. Never trust a base map. There just there to get the car to a dyno.

don't know if its worth tuning yet,Im having a situation with the engine burning oil, Im going to change the PCV and see if it eliminates that problem. I free reved the engine to 8k and took off dip stick to check for blowby and i found no fumes. I find odd for the bottom end to be bad

I would advise on getting the car looked at by a professional. Tuning the car and a good look over would be the best bet.
