Putting on door panel?
I was installing my new speakers into my car, and I can't seem to get the door panel back on properly. It doesn't seem to go in all the way on the top left, and theres a small gap. The door handle and lock are kinda deep in it's hole so that I can't lock it easily with my fingers. Any tips of getting the door panel on properly?

what year teg. The best way to do it is to slide the top on till it clips into place and line it up to the window sil and pop it on.
Sorry, it's a 1995 hahah. I don't know why but I just can't seem to get the top slid in and clipped everywhere. The rubber on the top doesn't like to get close to the door on the left side. I even had my father help me out and he was swearing and we eventually just left it.
A clip broke, too. Could this be an issue? I don't see why that would cause this to happen though

You kind of have to bend the top so it will cover the top of the door. It easy to do it with the door off. Its sort of like a hook on top. I would swing it by a local stereo shop and ask a install to do it. Bring a bag of chips a snapple and I bet he wont charge
I too just installed new speakers all around. I had a little difficulty putting my panels back on. I ended up rolling the window all the way down and tilting it through the window and with just a little bit of stretching over that lip of the door and a little bump to the front it finally went back into place. Clips should pop in. ....

Roll the window down.
Keeping the rear edge tilted up at about 30 degrees, hook the front edge (that will be closest to the mirror) of the panel over the center of the door.
Have someone watch the power door connector, so it does not fall behind the panel.
Slide the panel towards the mirror and slowly reduce the 30 degree angle.
Line up the hole under the triangle with the hold in the door. (A plastic clip will go here.)
Verify the panel is hooked over the door on both sides.
Snap the front of the panel, then the lower middle, then the rear.
