You would have many running issues, with a stock ECU.

A stock ecu is from an RSX . . . Think of how the fuel system is, in an Rsx that should give an inkling into why you shouldnt do it. You can get it to run on the stock ecu but it wouldnt be worth it in my eyes.

If the price is good enough for the build then just used the stock ecu as a core and send it to hondata to get a kpro.

Dont over complicate things

Send the stock ECU to Hondata for K-Pro. You will absolutely need it if you want the car to run properly, no doubt about it.

I think retail if you have the core is approx. $1,000, plus the cost of having the car tuned somewhere.

You can see if someone with K-Pro is doing a partout, you could probably pick it up cheaper and just exchange them for the stock core.

You will be fine with a stock rsx-s ecu as long as the immobilizer is disabled. You will not be able to beat on the car until you have the kpro in the car though. A stock rsx-s ecu will not add enough fuel for the car and will hinder performance.
