k24/k0 frankenstein help! kpro help!
ok guys , im new to k-series, and this guy just offered a k series eg hatch, it has a k24 block k20 a2 head, and he says the only thing he doesnt have is kpro, am i able to use a stock ecu to use this setup in a eg? let me know .. the faster the response the better..
A stock ecu is from an RSX . . . Think of how the fuel system is, in an Rsx that should give an inkling into why you shouldnt do it. You can get it to run on the stock ecu but it wouldnt be worth it in my eyes.
If the price is good enough for the build then just used the stock ecu as a core and send it to hondata to get a kpro.
Dont over complicate things

You will be fine with a stock rsx-s ecu as long as the immobilizer is disabled. You will not be able to beat on the car until you have the kpro in the car though. A stock rsx-s ecu will not add enough fuel for the car and will hinder performance.
