are you talking about removing the fender liners? if so, then yes, it's ok to take them off. i took them off in my gsr because the wheels would rub the clips on turns. the only issue you'll have is dirty door jambs.

removing the liners wont make yur ride smoother, its so the tires wont rub on them mainly when yur turning, cuz by those springs i know yur not slammed, cuz im lowered 2.5 inches and i only rub on full lock to lockl turning,
what size rims do u have???

Im running on the the stock 15" LS mesh. Its really bad when i have a passenger. I ended up hammering some of that metal that get in the way of my tires. I hope that will do

try getting lower profile tires

try running 195-50-15 on a 15x7 inch wide rim it slightly stretches the tire so you can go alot lower

I had H&R Sports while running 205/50-15 tires, and I never had problems with rubbing up front. Yes they were lower than they should have been, and were not stiff enough, but I didn't have any problems and have ALWAYS had the fender liners in on my car.

Are you sure that's where it's rubbing? Did you install the springs in the right place (front springs in front and rear in the rear)?
