i would do it the other way around, ditch the, "whatever" and get another kicker, or ditch both and start over fresh with a new pair of speakers..

ive searched everywhere and no luck. i have a 1000 watt amp hooked up to the Gravity sub and 500 watt to the kicker.

and i used to have that sub by itself before i got the kicker.

well think in terms of long term, if its this hard to source a "gravity" sub, then whats gonna happen when you toast those? Your out finding new subs anyways... kicker is way more mainstream, i had 8 kicker 12's in my civic hatch, i liked them, but not necessarily my choice of sub. there is a very vast subwoofer world out there, i would explore it, and if gravity subs were really "loud" i'm sure the spl lanes would be ate up with them, and when i go to usaci events i'm not seeing them, i think i have seen them once ever.. i don't wanna sound biased but i really love RE subs, they are pretty hardcore.. but if you wanna try something different try elemental designs, their subs have 5 year warranty, can't go wrong there. and i have had 2 of there subs, very clean sounding woofers.. not excursion beast, but good listening subs.

They probably were fake and not real JL audio. If you go to their website they have a disclaimer about online sales of grey market gear

With all the scams people try and run these days I'd be a little cautious.
