Default 84 mm Gsr block with b16 head

hey guys just wondering if i could get a gsr block resleve it and bore it to 84 mm, and still run boost, im looking to get a CR around 10.5 bc im not running more then 15 psi... any thoughts or advice is great

ya you can do it but I would lower the comp. a little more

I would go with a 9:1 compression, Some pistons use like a 9:8 compression but I would be careful. Once you feel that 15 psi your going to want more, 10:1 might be a little much if you are daily driving it.

I would go like 9.5:1 or 9.8:1 that will give a good spool for it and it will be good for daily driving

the car will only be driven on the weekends... with a b16 head would compression increase or deacrease bc im getting mixed answers, and i want to keep it near stock CR so i wont lose when im off boost

B16 head will drop your compression from a gsr head by about .2-.3

so if im looking for to around 10.2-10.5 Compression i look for something around 10.6 for a gsr with the bore of 84 mm

i dont have anypower goals its juss my weekend car but im not going to be boosting it till next year so thats why im going with the high compression
