How hard is it to do? Car had compressor removed when i got it all lines still there. Just got new compressor texas is hot!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

the compressors pretty easy to do, it's right under the powersteering pump, just make sure you have the bracket and recharge it and you should be good if you have no leaks

 

WRONG. It's easy to install but recharging is more complicated than just hooking up a can to the system. You need to have the system vaccuumed to make sure there are no noncondensables in it. You also need to make sure that your expansion valve is working properly and that your filter/dryer is not plugged. Intall it then take it to a shop to have it vaccuumed and charged. They'll tell you if anything is wrong based on the vaccuum. If you do it as b18c1ej8 said the compressor will die before you have money for another one.
