you wont need the 650 and the 60 trim for that kinda of power, unless ur going to build it for more power later on.

btw, u can always check out turbod16.com or on here...

If u want anything higher then 220whp, i would run arp headstuds just for insurance and maybe shim the oil pump.

yeah D16Y's r notorious for havin shitty oil flow setup, ive even seen shimmed pumps fail horribly.. you could just get a Z6 block, and for better head flow id say ****** a vtec head and/or PnP... and head studs are always relatively good assurance measure... ur setup you have now sounds pretty complete and also, just cuz ur turbos gonna be puttin out more power at less psi doesnt mean a whole bunch, because PSI isnt how u rate what ur motor could handle, go by WHP and like u stated, on stock internals id stay under 240ish... gl

The oil pumps aren't the problem with the Y series D's. Its the cranks that are really to blame. The oil journals are drilled COMPLETELY different on the Y series vs the Z6. I personally have a Z6 crank in my Y8 to rememdy this problem. Stock pump, no shim crap, no problems.

As for the "less psi, less stress, same power" arguement.... thats incorrect. PSI isn't a stress factor. Horsepower is horsepower is horsepower. THIS is the "stress factor". Its not going to matter if it takes you 5psi or 10psi to make 200whp. 200whp is 200whp. The only thing it might impact is if your turbo isn't efficiently able to push 10psi.

Good point thanks guys , The only reason im goin to be turboing this set up it becuase i have a chance to get tuned by one of the best in the game were i live we dont have really anyone who can tune.

After i get a great tune i was goin to build a block to the same specs as when i get tuned
