thoughts on this turbo?
Hey guys, I picked up a new precision turbo for my y8 build.
I ended up getting the sc34 which from the looks of things it is identical specs to garret 57 trim t3/t4E.
compressor= t4E .60 a/r 57 trim turbine= t3 .48 a/r stage 3 76 trim
I originally ordered it with the .63 a/r hot side, then switched it to .48 after discovering that with my crap tastic gear ratios in a y8 s40 tans. I might be dropping out of boost between shifts with a .63
My goal is 400 whp, Do you guys think this turbo is capable of it?
Build is a simple y8 stock head, custom rods/vitara pistons 8.5:1 c/r.
I am hoping that with like 25 psi I might still be able to hit 400 whp even with the .48 hot side.

Not with a .48 housing and a .63 housing work just fine on a d series. When making that kind of power its going to take a larger turbo than a 57 trim IMO to hit 400 unless your going for that hp on race gas only then you can max it out on 400
