How does the Main Relay Work
Now I know that there are 7 wires for the main relay.
1 wire is a constant 12 v source
1 wire is a constant negative source
1 Goes to the fuel pump
1 goes to the ecu
1 goes to the ecu
1 goes to the ignition
1 goes to the starter
Now my question here is how does the main relay tell the fuel pump to work.
Does it always keep it on. Like say, you connect the power wire to a constant power source and not wire it to the main relay. That turns the fuel pump on constantly. I can hear a humming and I have fuel pressure, but it keeps it on all the time.
Is this normal, or not the way the main relay works.

I dont understand what you are telling me here.
You say it works with the ignition switch. That means once you turn the car on, the fuel pump activates, and only deactivates when the car is off.
