So my 2001 gsr has leaked oil for about 6 months, it was a tiny bit for a while, maybe a drop here and there. but over the past month or so it has gotten much much worse. If i pull into a parking lot going about 5-10 mph into a spot there will be a drop of oil every 2 feet or so. i changed the valve cover gasket about 2 months back because there was a small amount of oil leaking from there, no more issues from that point.
I jacked the car up to see if i could see a certain area that it's coming from but there is oil everywhere from driving around and having it splash up. I have had zero power loss and there is no coolant leakage, but there is alot of oil on my back bumber and trunk. what could be causing so much oil loss? and is it safe to say that it's not my head gasket? also my car is running at normal operating temperature with no issue.

Clean your engine with engine cleaner or simple green and water...This will clear all the excess oil, then turn it on and look for the oil leak. Now oil on the bumper, is this coming from the tail pipe, if so then that could be bad piston rings, or scratched cylinder wall(s).

so with the tail pipe im guessing i should really be hoping for bad piston rings right?
Yes...but have a tech check the diameter of the cylinder bore at the top, middle and bottom, as a bad rod or worn bearing can cause uneven wear on the cylinder wall...Making a tapered effect on the cylinder wall, which can also cause excessive oil burning.

ok so this is my daily driver and i literally have no other means of transportation to and from work, what fears should i have if i keep driving it but make sure there is always plenty of oil? also i will be cleaning everything on wednesday to see where oil is leaking from down there.
is your car stock we need more info, just clean your motor and then check again, without any pictures we just can't tell you. If you change your valve cover gasket already and its still leaking you still got your cam seal, camshaft seals, rear and front main seals, vtec solenoid seal, and a lot more. Only you can pinpoint where its leaking from. These are just some of the area's i would look for.

simply has header, exhuast, and cai. I know i need to figure out where its coming from underneath but my main concern now is why it's going through the exhaust since it is my daily driver, and i am broke as f*ck

i know it's not the oil filter, it was a really small leak a few months back and it's just gotten progressivly worse. damn i wish it was that easy tho.
why would you use a fram? frams blow...i would MUCH rather use an oem honda filter or a hamp. the o-ring came off the filter and stayed on my block and it was just a shitty filter. i have also seen them crush when you take them off and they just dont hold up well. IMO def go with an oem honda filter.
yeah dude why would you use fram on a mega super duper high performance motor like a gsr, lol. N-E ways. have you check ALL the simple things like the oil pan gasket? Oil drips mean leak not burnt oil. I def, suggest doing the whole clean the motor a watch it run thing! Good luck!
Check the cam seal, if its the stock one (plastic) get a metal one with 2 rings. Its a known issue on TEGS. Will cause oil to leak down the front of your engine, but shouldn't be that much.....
But if it isn't i'd still replace it. Easy install.

Yeah I hope its just that one cam seal. Hope its not the the two cam seals on the right of the engine.
