Where is the best place to get a garrett turbo rebuilt?? I know it needs a new shaft and compressor wheel, but it needs a good rebuild, let me know of good or bad experiances with shops, prices, and where to contact, I would also like it balanced

 

With that being the case. Best to get another unit by that point (depending upon size). standard well-performed rebuilds are about 300-400 dollars, not including other wheels and turbine wheel/shaft.

99% of the people who will rebuild from an online customer will not do it for less than $400 + parts..

ya but I picked it with a motor and the guy I got it from is going to pay for a rebuild, Im pretty sure its a $900 turbo new so still worth the 450 or so to rebuild, just lookin for a good shop that actually balances and rebuild because I want it to last, this one seized with less than 500 miles on it
