Default valve job question with new valves

i have a brand new lsvtec, new valve job omni valves, car ran great till the timing belt jumped i bent 2 intake valves in the #2 cyclinder. i had only drivin about a mile on the new motor when i had the problem. i have the new valves and i need to know if anything must be done to the valves to install them? the guides are fine and so can i just install them and call it good, or do the valve have to be cut? i was goin to install them and pour gas in the port and check for leaks, but i wanted to check first.

Default Re: valve job question with new valves

Just have the new valves machined to ensure a proper seal. Most shops only charge like $2-5 per valve.
