I need this asap and for a good price. I do not care if it has a cracked sleeve. I do not care if it runs or smokes. Must be complete from the bottom.
I need just a short block. Can trade for a discount on a alarm system or parts or how we can make this deal go smoothly. It must also have papers. I will not buy a stolen block. I will also run the block numbers. So try to sell a stolen block and get put on 1212 blast ave. Over priced offers will be ignored.
I need this to pass a reff ticket that my cousin got and we are going to rebuild it and pass the refff with it. Thanks guys!

We passed ref with a lsv, lol. he got anothor ticket passed smog and vis. Third time they look at it and was like wtf. Luck ran out. He was like I bought it like this and it passed twice with you guys. They were baffled why it passed smog. So sinced it passed smoged they gave him 120 days to fix the engine code. Atleast they were not dicks about it. And he can still drive it.

nope. If you have a teg its consider a replacement motor. If you have a civic and put in a b18c its breaking the law unless its a usdm b18c1. The law is going to change back very soon he said. Its pertty stupied. I have everything to build a fresh bottom end. Thats why I trying to find something thats needs to be rebuild. Plus we rebuild anything used. Why start life with a high miles motor just to put more miles on it. Start brand new and have worrried free fun!

yes, I seen it. $425 for something that I going to pull apart and redo and it still needs a rebuild not matter what vs $200 for yours and I going to do the same thing. I think i going to pick up yours :beers:
You don't make sense. How the .... are you gonna rebuild a cracked bottom end? You specifically stated cracked block doesn't matter. A cracked block will need to be resleeved and I doubt your going to put that kind of money into the block for what your wanting to do. So what's the real story?

Step one. Get a short block with cracked sleeves or a short block that needs a rebuild.
Step Two. Drop it off at the machine shop to have it sleeved to a 2.0l
Step three. assemably the short block and put the head on so we can drive the car back to the reff so we can pass smog and visual.
Step four. Bring the car back and install the turbo kit and send it to bisi to be tuned.
I have 4 ls blocks at the shop that are not going to do me any good for this rebuild.
"So what do you think the real story is?" what are to trying to imply here with this?

Did you read what I wrote? Cracked sleeves not a cracked block. And who are you to tell me what our budget is on this? I did not even put the whole story out there.
