Default need help with passing emissions

went yesterday and failed

here are my results...

HC(PPM)-180=Pass I got 222
CO-1.3=Pass I got 3.73

Also failed the idle limit for HC(PPM)
Passing is 220 and I got 365

I cleaned my injectors, used seafoam in the gas tank, oil, and through a vacum line to go straight into the mainfold and still failed....

Havne't gone back to emissions yet gotta run a full tank on the G2P...
So i went and got some Zmax for the oil and the G2P(Guarantee To Pass) gas treatment from shucks....

Got an eg with a bone stock 00 GSR swap running on a p28 with a jdm b16 base map...

anyone deal with the same **** help a brother out, tabs expire in like 2wks
thanks....

if you can, find a stock intake. because aftermarket one might make you run just a little more rich.

i have one but its an aftermarket gutless one... i was thinking of that also...
basically straight pipe all the way down to the axel back where i have a stock 99/00 civic si axel back on it...

Got a old skool skunk2 manifold on it and my intake on it is a stock gsr inatke with a k/n filter so i dont think the intake part is making any difference... thanks though...

Yeah, I agree with FFerio... I think your P28 with different base map is making it fail... Definitely try a stock GSR ecu.. if you can find one..

fill ur tank 1/4 full of gas and put in a cup or 2 of as close to 100% rubbing alcohol as you can get. after u pass fill ur tank the rest of the way to dilude the alcohol. it wont hurt your car.

if you're ecu is chipped just go to xenocron or phearable and buy a chip with a stock GSR base map on it, should be like 25 bux.

^^^WIN^^^

also, i have gotten two cars to pass with mild built LSVTECs in them (PR3 pistons, one with CTR one with S2S2 cams). i gave them a stock P05 (92-95 CX) ECU to run. obviously you dont wanna be ripping around on the car with the ECU in (or the rubbing alcohol), i would throw the ECU in when your just around the corner. neither car had a cat...
