97 Ek coupe wit suspension problems.... it shakes between 60-80mph... and it also shakes alittle while i give it gas...

wat can it be?

i alrdy balanced my tires??

 

only thing i can think of right now is balancing umm try an check to see the the little weights are still on the rims maybe they feel off ?

 

Check your drive axles. If it shakes when you give it gas it's a good indication that you have a bad drive axle, and your front wheel balance could be off.

 

make sure none of your rims are bent,wheel bearings are tight,theres no type of frontend play (ie:loose tierods,ball joints) & that wheels are properly balanced & properly inflated (ie:calls for 35 psi cold run 32psi,calls for 44-50psi cold run 35-38psi,I work at tire shop I know how little can throw them off).

 

Yea your best bet is pretty much covers, tires, axles, and your alignment are pretty much everything lol, but most the time I run into a certain speed wobble its usually in the tires and wheels, maybe old tires that are dry rotted or its been a long time since your wheels have been balanced or heck even lack of rotating your tires twice a year will screw it up

 

yup forgot bout the rotation thing,good way to ruin a set of tires,lol.

 

ok ima do the balancing one more time, and check the axle + al front end parts and see wats loose.. thx for the help ill let u guys know wat happens!

 

how good are your tires? is there any tread left on them?

 

thx wit the help. i got it all done and actually had to sell it, cause i just need some money but got a my new project. 91 DA.. clean as ***... wit a b20.. and the vtec head will be on it asap.
