Default :::..A/C Service - Southern CA..::: Who do you trust?

I just bought an LS to replace my Gsr but the A/C doesn't work. All the parts are there except the tensioner bracket and pulley which I'm picking up hopefully tomorrow.

Any of you know of a good shop that won't rape me on getting it fixed? Or some of you out there know how to fix?

Let me know, thanks [SoCal] HT !!

I trust myself

You can try installing the tensioner and pully yourself (it's easy) then see if you still need service.

You can also buy a gauge to see if you still have R-134 in there.

AC/Hvac is one the best paid jobs next to transmission tech's....good luck finding something cheap, your best bet is to do all you can yourself, that would lower the cost of labor. But for the most part, special equipment is needed for this job, and that's why it's so damn expensive...along with the proper storage and recycling of the R-134a.
