Default D15B in my EG, help!

HI, I have a complete D15B motor, but I was told that the block was no good. Is it ok have the D15B7 as the block? Also, could anyone tell me the torque for the head studs? Thanks guys... I'm gonna need a lot of help

Is the D15B you have a non-vtec one? If so, having done a lot of comparison of the non-vtec D15B in my 93 Civic with the stock D15B7, I think there is no problem at all using a D15B7 block. I think the D15B and D15B7 blocks are exactly the same, and the heads (once converted to MPFI) have only a small difference at most in the camshaft and spring heights. D15B7, D15B6 and D15B2 cylinder head bolts are all tightened, in the proper sequence, first to 22 ft-lbs, then to 47 ft-lbs.

You might want to post also to www.d-series.org . Not as active but lots of good info on the Honda D-series engines.
