Default Axle Help!!!!!

Hi I have a 1995 Acura Integra.

The setup is:

B20 block (All Stock)
B16 Head
GSR Cams
Blox Manifold
4-2-1 Headers
2.5" exhaust (no cat)
75 wet shot (single fogger)

150whp(motor)
256whp(bottle)

The problem is I went to the track this weekend and I used some BFG drag radials(18psi). I was launching at 6000RPM without using the nitrous and two times my driver side axle (pepboys axles) snapped at the spindel.

I want to know what can be causing this?
(could it be cheap axles, not launching high enough, psi in tires, dumping the clutch, ect)

Not pre-loading the driveline, and dumping the clutch.

As well as using those cheap axles. You'll here lot's of stories about how some guy's do fine with cheap axles. In a DD I've gone through 4 of them before I found a good one. Free life time replacement, yea, you do the labor 4 times.

Search, there are a ton of axle threads.

Hesperia, I used to live there, I was at GAFB in the late 70's.

Oem honda axles seem to be pretty hogh quality... see if you can get your hands on some of those... and preloading is a good idea ... although I never did last year, I just domped the clutch at 8grand on slicks 170 60 ft... with a heavier car... maybe they are just crap axles that you have..?

its like letting out on the clutch alittle so the the drivetrain is tight. instead of the drivetrain being loose. The sudden slap of the clutch and loose drivetrain is the problem tho.

preloading ahs been talked about alot.

basically it is this, let the clutch out enough to move the car but not enough that it cant be held with the ebrake.
