Trans will be fine, you will need an ecu im preety sure or have it worked by rywire.com, almost positive youll need mounts, and header if im not mistaken.Wire harness will need modification i belive

you are mistaken; the mounts and header are the same. i know the im will need to be swaped to the stock ls one, also possibly the distributor and injectors (not sure on those).

what you want to do is switch the intake manifold,tb(all sensors)exhaust manifold, dizzy, cams(only if it is a 96-98 b20,check year code on the head) from over the b18b to the b20,this will allow you to run the new engine with the least modification and no need of a tune since the stock ecu for a b18b already runs abit rich making it ideal for a b20. though please note that you do have to do this which is very easy in order to use a jdm b20 http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm also note that it is worth it to go with the high compression b20 as it will put out more hp,get better mpg,has a better chance to have less mileage(99-01 version b20,has a box on its intake manifold)
