Default whats this tube?

im wondering what the tube right next the the radiator is that makes a u-shape and at the top has i little blue cap with and "L" on it. some blue-green liquid is leaking and i think it was from here so i unscrewed the big nut a little ways and it started hissing as gas was released and when i tightened it back, it kept hissing for a good 20 minutes. anyone know what the tube is? what its for? and what might be leaking out?

yup, L stands for low side. as far as the leak go to local parts store, they carry a shreder valve kinda like whats in your valve stem. Replace it and recharge your system.

i think there is a hole in the tube where the nut is connected right next the the L, would i have to replace the tube/pipe thing there? and how do i recharge the system?

That is your low pressure side hose of your AC system, and to the person above what the hell is freon....Don't you mean R-134a....Get your stuff stright and stop giving people wrong information...To the OP, take it to an AC/Heater tech. they will take care of your leak, and re-charge your refrigerant...

If there is a hole there, they will have to replace that line....and then they will re-charge...

It doesn't have to be at a dealer...go online, and find a shop near your town...They will be cheaper then at the dealer...Just make sure that they are certified...I am but I am in So. Cal.

The dealer has to do both, because you shouldn't work on AC components, because you can cause injury to yourself and the ozone....That's why I said that you need to take it to a AC/heating tech...You can call acura and find out the price on that hose. Heads up AC work is pretty expensive...That's all I can really tell you on that matter.
