Default del slow motor swap

So i just barely bought a del sol this last weekend and would like to do a motor swap right after paint....

Im thinking of 2 options, H22 vtec or the normal 0bd1 B16a3...

Just seeing your guy's imputs. you know more then me surely

So what do you all think? what would i need for both?

I know what i'd need for the B series.

but what about H? I wanna boost it and get somewhere around 300-350 as a DD car. as cheap as possible...

any info is greatly appreciated thanks!!

if you want to boost to 300-350WHP, get the B16 (as much as I dislike that engine). The H22 needs to be sleeved if you're gonna boost enough (PSI-wise) to make that kind of power.

B16A3 would be a more straightforward swap and easier to boost.

I do like the H22 though... it's just not that cost effective for this goal.

as cheap as possible than turbo a D16z6 V Tec and it will be a great DD. If you have money and want power up their go for the H22 thats a ****ing monster.

I would rather do a Bseries swap and turbo it over the D16....

And i think your right just seeing pro's and con's of both i guess.
B would be cheaper, but would be sick to see an H22 in one maybe boost the bseries then an H22 later down the road!

How many pounds and horses is a B16 stock internals good for??

....if you're on a budget...go LS-t. Can't go wrong with that option.

x2. Don't need to change internal. Just don't be putting your pedal to the max 24/7.

How many pounds would you say a LS motor could hold good and SAFE with the stock internals??

Is the LS cheaper or easier than the B16 into the Del Sol?
