Default what test pipe to use for my setup?

I have a 96 civic coupe with a B18C motor. I have 2.5 exhaust from cat back. I am about to install the peakboost turbo kit and it comes with a 3" DP. I want to remove my cat and put in a test pipe but which size or one do i use? Do i use a civic or an integra one? Also most test pipes only come in 2.25" so do i buy one of those or do i go to an exhaust shop and get them to custom make one?

$100 for an OBD1 magnaflow direct fit cat
$150 for an OBD2 one

~$80 for a universal magnaflow

test pipes are the raspy ones.

high flow cats are like stock cats but high flow and only a tad bit louder.

What can i do to have a deep set up? I gave up on trying. i have dc sport header 4-2-1 and i have tried so many set ups but not satisfied so i dump header all the time. I'm looking for a clean deep sound at any rpms even up their past 7

the muffler is what controls the noise of the exhaust system. high flow cat might increase the noise slightly but i doubt it will be that noticable

The posts before these were at least relevant. Now it's threadjacking. Start another thread. I'll talk to you in there about it.

Yes, the muffler. The sound you hear is the muffled sound from the motor. Of course changing certain components in the exhaust system might change the sound you hear, the muffler is what ultimately makes it more quiet. The mufflers you talk about are engineered for higher performance rather than reducing the noise of the exhaust system. There are mufflers out there such as the stock that will decrease the noise made by the motor.
