hello all, i have a seriously annoying problem on my 5th gen prelude base, 5 speed. sence i bought it it has had a RETARTED idle problem, the ecu said it was the egr valve, so i replaced it, then my iacv started messing up, replaced it too, it ran fine for about a month, then my fuel fitler clogged up!!!! i also replaced it too, it still does this thing whenever im stopped i have to rev it up to at least 2500 rpm to not bogg, now the f**ker boggs everytime, to put it in perspetive for you when i put it into first i rev it a little bit, then the rpm boggs down super hard untill 2500 rpm then it explodes with accleration,also my check engine light is on again for my primary o2 sensor, and when i shut it off i have to pump the gas to get it started, omg wtf can you all give me your best advice?

 

could be a fueling or ignition issue if you're having problems on startup. mileage? last tune-up? mods? try new spark plugs and wires if they haven't been changed recently and check to make sure your injectors aren't clogged or dirty. and if you're throwing a code for your primary o2 it's probably time to get a new one, which will probably help some, if not completely.

 

check MAP sensor, check vacuum leaks, do a full tune up
