I am currently building a z6 and am looking for anyhere from 275-325 hp, it gonna be my DD. I just picked up a evo 8 td05hr 16g for pretty cheap and was wondering what i can expect out of it? Would 17psi do the trick? anyways the plan is to buy an aftermarket evo 8twin scroll manifold, cutting the flange and wilding a z6 exhaust flange to make it work. Thanks

 

not a build that is real common... if you are buying an aftermarket manifold, why not contact one of the sponsors on here and have them make something up for ... if you are getting a decent manifold anyway, by the time you finish cutting and making the evo one work, you'll probably be further ahead with a custom job....

The z6 head is alot narrower then the 4g63 heads so youwill have to modify the runners starting just past the collector for it to work well. I cut them about 3ins from the flange and worked from there to bring them in. There are a few people who build manifolds and have made them for d and b series but make sure you merge the runners correctly so the twin scroll works.
