I know when you are using OEM bearings you can but a brown and a green bearing on the same journal to get the desired clearance. Is this possible with ACL H & HX race bearings or are the difference in thicknesses too wide.

 

If they fit yes but you still need to make sure the clearances are in spec.

 

No. The race bearing has an addditional .001 of clearance relative to the std bearing. That would be like mixing red and blue bearings.
