Sold my gorgeous 00 GSR last night but I got a 94 LS today and will be making my own this time
For my particular setup, I have a 97 GSR (JDM) swap and the OEM GSR intake manifold. I was planning on swapping the engine harness itself but is that completely necessary?
Minus the fact that it's a JDM engine, I don't want any smog problems down the road ... what am I missing? Am I going to need to convert the car to OBD2? If so, can some of you give me a quick rundown?
Re-ringing the block and getting it honed this week
Just want to get all my 'ducks in a row' beforehand. Thanks!!

Im pretty sure all you have to run is knock sensor, vtec, secondary and as for the ecu a p72 might just work. Not quite sure how jdm motors are since ive never worked with one.
i think you'll need a OBD1 GSR distributor.
the injector clips can be modified to work.
use a obd1 P72 and your current harness, add whatever wires need to be added.

you can run a obd2 harness in your obd1 ls all you need to do is run vtec knock sen and dual butterflys and ya done. obd2 harness plugs right in and you dont need to change dizzy.
