Default Leaky hose or water pump?

Hi, I recently purchase a '94 Accord EX coupe and it has a few issues.

The main one I need to fix is an over heating problem. After driving the car a little while, the car temp gauge rises pretty steadily. It started doing it only while I was stopped, but now does it even driving down the road. Every time it happens, the antifreeze disappears and I have to refill it. Only to have the same problem next time I drive for more than 10 minutes or so.

So I'm thinking either a busted hose or water pump issue. But if it was the water pump, would antifreeze be disappearing? I have only looked for a leak in a couple of places, but still need to look at all the hoses under the IM. Any help/suggestions? thanks!

It may also be burning it too. See if you can get a pressure tester and pressure test the system

Good luck

Burning it as in blown head gasket? Wouldn't I see smoke if that were the case? I'll get a pressure tester to check it.

well, actually, with a blown head gasket that is really bad, yes, you'll see smoke. but when you see smoke, you will also have loss in compression. it appears that you may have a warped head, and a bad head gasket. I would suggest that you get a new head gasket, and resurface your head. also making sure that the thermostat opens up fine, and both fans come on when they are suppose to.

I haven't seen any smoke, so I'm hoping its not the head gasket/head. I'm going to refill it and run it in place today to wait for it to do something. I'll be watching for smoke and for leaks on the pavement.

Leak found....

Hose that attaches to throttle body directly under where intake and throttle body meet. Hopefully I can replace the hose and have no more problems!!!!
