well i was trying to take my bumper off and the 5 bolts that hold the bumper in the engine bay was stripped so i have no way of taking them off..i was wondering what are they called?..and whats the best way to take them off now that they are stripped?..any advice would be appreciated

 

use sum vice grips that the way I took mine off then head to the junk yard an took the bolts from all different cars because some of them stripped

 

thanx EG6KILIN..i tried using a vice grip and it didnt work..but i hella forgot about the junk yard..wow..but yea hopefulli a little shop can take dem off for free

 

pb blaster should help break the loose give it some time to penetrate

I bought new ones for like a buck each from honda. that way I didnt have to waste time looking for good ones in the JUNK yard.

 

Honda calls them "bolt assy, bumper" which isn't too helpful as they call a few other bolts the same thing too.

Either way I looked up 1994 Civic Si HB (same for every 92-95 Civic, regardless of trim) and what you need are 5 of #30 in this picture below:



You can call your local dealership and ask them to look up a 1994 Civic Si HB, bumper page, and it should be #30 on their screen too.
