Default help code 40?

im getting a code 40 and wondering if anyone else has
every gotten that code..
im lost because a code 40 shouldnt exist.
my car starts up fine but when i would rev it up to a certain point
it would do an abnormal idle...
kinda like vrm vrm vrm vrm when i give it gas more the idle goes away
note that i dont have this idle when i start the car.. and after a little bit
check engine light comes on.. it gives me a code 10 and 40

What year/engine?

Maybe it was code 4 rather than 40?

Did you forget to reconnect the IAT sensor (code 10)?

Clear the ECU to see whether either code repeats.
