D16Z6 Cam Cap--Help Needed
Noticed my Civic leaking some oil today. Replaced the timing belt, seals, wp a month or so ago. Anyway, removed the valve cover and upper belt cover and noticed there's a crack in the cam cap . Actually a small piece of it is broken off after I removed the 10mm bolt right behind the cam sprocket. This is causing an oil leak. Put a little JB Weld and tightened it back down. Figured I might need to be looking for this part regardless. Anyone know it a Non Vtec cap will work, say D15B7 etc..?
Don't think I can buy this from the dealer, it's sold as a whole head assembly.. Not going there.
