Default Broken ect sending unit sensor.

That's right, it's in an obd1 b16a.

It's not the two wire ect sensor that reports to the computer, it's the single wire one for the temp sending unit on the cluster.

I was trying to remove it from the head while the engine was warm like a dumbass and the sensor broke in half leaving the other half of the sensor (threaded part) flush in the head.

Anyone have any idea on how to remove this?

The sensor itself is hollow with a plastic sheath around a spring, both of which have been removed so that can give me some help...

You might want to try using a reverse threaded extractor tool like the one shown in the picture. This tool can be purchased from your local hardware store.

Both are located under the distributor. Only the 2-wire sensor will throw a code, not the 1-wire sending unit.

check the resistance of the new sensor at cold and hot to make sure it's sending correct signals back to the pcm. I believe it uses a 5 volt reference wire and a return wire to the computer...grab a service manual for procedure, I believe all b series are the same.
