Default S4C into an EF with OBD1?

I'm having some trouble with my B swap. Recently I bought a 00 Civic Si S4C transmission, and like an idiot I sold my cable tranny with the speed sensor in it. I plan on going OBD1 with a jumper harness to the ECU. My question is, do I need to source another cable speed sensor and replace the electronic one in the S4C? If I am going OBD1, how is my ECU going to be able to determine my speed and RPMs with a cable speed sensor? Lastly, can I keep my TD-22U OBD0 B16 distributor?

If the S4C has the electronic VSS then you could convert to a different cluster. If it doesn't have the VSS, then use one from a D series manual tranny.

Oh, and you will need a OBD1 Distributor

get another cable vss. The car already has the wiring from the gauge cluster to the ecu for the cable vss. You need the obd1dist because the pick ups are different between that and the obd0 dist. Just use your factory engine harness plug it all up like a normal obdo motor. Add your wires for vtec, knock, 4 wire 02, etc. Plug your adapter harness in and thats it. Also you will need to either repin the obd0 dist plugs to obd1 or by a dist adapter harness to convert. I believe rywire has one.
