bad coolant hose.
So yesterday at the bank the smell of burning coolant came back to haunt me. checked my coolant and it below the low level. it started leaking out. when i got home driving slow and careful watching my temp i got home opened the hood and it was squirting out of the hose that loops from the back of the head to the back side of the intake manifold. So now im going to replace the hose and bleed the system. How do i bleed the system? Anyone ever have this hose go bad? Oh the engine is a JDM D15B
^ where is this bleed bolt located? where the upper rad hose connects to the engine?
Reason I ask is, I've always bled it by filling up the radiator, letting it idle for 15 minutes, then putting the cap back on

When you bleed the system make sure you have the heater and the fan both turned on and all the way up. Otherwise you're not getting the coolant that's back in the heater. I'd run water through the system and wait until that's all that's coming out before you put coolant back into it. If you don't run it with the heat on you run a risk of getting it airlocked, and having hot coolant sprayed into your face isn't fun. Trust me...
