em1 b16a2 ecu chipped whats the benefit on it
it depends on all other modifications...
is it stock or what do you have?
you really need some bolt on intake header exhuast....
yes youll get a little more power but noithing worth while

and btw, Rev limiter has the complete opposite of ANYTHING to do with timing, unless its "i over revved because i thought my stock b16 could handle 12,000 rpm and now i jumped time"
You might gain a little by tuning on a stock motor, but it would be rather pointless due to the insignificance between tuned and untuned. You would be better off with just some simple boltons (I/H/E/IM) and then a tune afterwards if you wanted so see some worthwhile gains.
This might seem crazy but perhaps you could reset your ECU instead of replacing it, if you plan on keeping it stock anyways. I reset my ECU because the person who owned my car before had been using regular gas instead of premium. I had to reset to factory settings so the ECU wouldn't continue to limit the trim value which in turn limits timing. However when you reset your ECU, all of the values are set to their default state which are the settings for optimum stock performance. I honestly didn't think it would make a difference but my VTECH kicks better than it ever has, and the engine runs smoother all the way around.

yea dude, rev limiters are put on for a reason. Nobody wants to deal with some valve float or bounce because some time down the road you'll be cursing yourself for doing that. What kind of power are you trying to achieve here?
