Re: Rev limit issues
Your car is trying to save you from going too fast
Check -Fuel/Spark/Air
Filter/dizzy/fuel pump/injectors
Somewhere something is holding you back

Re: Rev limit issues
is vtec engaging? it almost sounds like fuel cut from the injectors like it will do to a boosted car with a bad fuel pump.... but your not boosted.

Re: Rev limit issues
huh.... only other thing i can thing of is the VSS is acting up and making your tach and ecu read different things causing a rev limit.

Re: Rev limit issues
are you sure the fuel pressure was there when you were reving to 6900. It may be your pump not supplying enough when you get it up that high and its cutting out
