I found a Canadian 2001 CW Type R with 20,500 kms.
The owner has no listed price, so I dont know what to offer.
I wish there was an asking price though.

Details:
2001 year, last year of production
championship white ext, red seats, black trim
pretty well all stock except for AEM CAI, Neuspeed springs (stock available)
1 small ding on rear panel
1 small scuff on rim
No paintwork.. the front curb guard is a bit scratched up
never winter driven, rarely driven in rain
No air conditioning

 

i would buy this car again... interior looks alot better than my old one

 

l would say around 17-18K would be a good starting point.

 

same here. what a nice clean low mile stock car. i hate to admit it but i kept wanting to change the front seats when i looked at that interior shot.

2 years ago I bought a similar car for 25,000 CDN, which was about 21K USD back then. The car still had 2 years of warranty so it was a little pricier than perhaps it was worth. I'm not sure what currency all these guys are talking above me, but I would agree with the above 17-18k USD.

****, I just noticed you're in Toronto. So am I. Up here, I would say under $20K would be an okay price. Our market is a little softer than the US market it seems. I don't really think you'll get a 'good deal' on a car like this with so few kms. All depends on what it's worth to you.

 

Im sure some of the users here are abit biased regarding pricing, but keep in mind the recession thats going on right now, and who knows how long it will last.
Im willing to pay fair market value for it.. . but it still has 8 years on it, even though the kms are low. Under $20,000 Canadian I think would be fair right now.

 

I bet you could sell her for 22k-24k to the right buyer

 

I believe he is buying, not selling. I would agree in the 17-18k USD range.

canadian itr, fairly rare and begging to be sat on the shelf for some jdm recaros when you drive the car. the above pictured are rare but i just hate looking at them

 

that R is a creampuff. i would buy it immediately, and pay fair market value for it.

i'm still amazed at the price these go for. it's the only compact car that goes for close to what it sold for new.

actually, the only other car i can think of that's similar from the 90s now sells for more than it did new. the 1990 ferrari f40 was like 250k new and now pulls 400k all day

something to be said for low production cars

except the zr1....they made like 5000 or something of those from 90-95, sold for 60-70k new, now you get 30-35 for a mint like new one.

 

if i had that car... i would ask 20000-22000 canadian dollars AT LEAST

Peoples idea from 15-17 sounds about right, but since it does have little imperfections I wouldnt offer him more than 19... But thats just me. And with the economy that way it is you never know..

Only in 2001. They are the same seats as the USDM ITRs and previous model year CDM ITRs just red.

I'm not a person that overpays for something, no matter how good or rare it is.
No offense to the seller but, its been for sale for almost 1 year, so I'm not alone.
I made a reasonable offer of $19,000 which is more than whats it's truly worth.
