Default my new jdm h22a swap

so it runs fine, but when the car idles or when i turn on the air conditioning, the car like starts to hesitate. the rpm drops very low then it'll go back to normal. it's somewhat scary b/c the car seems like it's going to start off but it'll go back to normal, and do it again every few minutes.

is that a bad alternator or battery? thanks guys

Iacv on the back of the manifold is the first thing i would look at. Pull it off (2 bolts and two coolant lines) and clean out the screen. Also would probly be a better idea to post this in the lude section as well.

it idles fine....the iacv has something to do when more power is generated?

when the car uses air conditioning or when i roll both windows down at the same time with the lights on...the rpms drop really low.

when it sits at a light..it idles fine..but only until the fan kicks in....when the fan turns on rpm drops really low for just a second and returns back to normal.

to know if it your alternator take mulitmeter and measure your battery should get like 13 or 14 something around there.....also if you want start your car and disconnect your battery and if the car dies you know its ur alternator....easiest way to find out instead of us giving you ideas...just troubleshoot it and then get back to us..and i would leave it here this isn't just the all motor b section....

okay, i'll have my battery and alternator checked by monday afternoon. As far as alternators, the jdm h22a alternator should be the same as the motor on the 1992 prelude Si correct? i'm thinking all the alternators for the h series are the same? how about the F series. just in case if it was my alternator, i'll change it, but i need to know if it's the same. thanks
