Take tranny casing off, bearing ball falls out?
Just got a new EX tranny today, Just checking it out because the very nice guy that gave it to me said that the VSS was ****ing up. Take the case off and a bearing ball falls out from the top, all the bearings are straight and cherry. Wondering where it came from.

if none of the bearings are bad then its probably one of the detents for the shift forks. Theres 3 of them, they use one ball bearing each.

Right on. It looked like it fell from the top when I took it off. But I did do alot of shaking getting the casing off.
