Default B series Valve adjustment question

I need to give my b16 a valve adjustment and I have the specs and everything but when you stick the feeler gauge between the cam and roller, which lope of the cam do you measure on per cylinder.

ie. if im doing cylinder number one on the exhaust side, which lope do I measure?

same questions for intake side.

sry but ive never done it before and im trying to learn. thanks

the FSM shows you how to turn the crank for setting each valve. start at TDC for cyl #4 i believe (not sure though). set the clearance for that cyl then rotate the crank 1/4 turn, set another cyl, etc, but it doesn't go in order. I can look it up for you if you want, PM or email because i am not on here very often.
