Okay so my buddy has a 93 Civic hatch SI, Well when he bought the car it had some nasty Ebay tail lights so he ordered some Factory tail lights. Well they don't fit.. The tail lights he ordered are a smaller size. So my question is... Are the hatches tail lights bigger or are the SI tail lights bigger? Why won't they fit. Thanks in advance!

 

Anybody know the Answer to this question? I've searched and we have even tried using his Coupe tail lights and there still too small.

 

shouldnt be any different. difference in models are factory options and such, idk why honda would make the taillights smaller... you never know what ur getting from ebay

 

i think he got the coupe ones.. u need to make sure u get the HB set...

kinda, IIRC there the same size from the outside perspective but the back side is thiner on the hatchs. also the bolt hole do not line up at all. 2dr and 4dr are interchangable but 3dr's are not

 

Have him return the ones from the stealership and buy mines
