A few problems with my 92 4 door civic w/ d16y8
my problems:
1. idle was about 700 ever since i got my car..now it idles a little over 1k..
2. clutch was fine until yesterday i saw there was like barely any fluid in it so i topped it off but clutch feels lighter than usual..
3. not too long ago i went somewhere, came back out, tried to turn on my car and it wouldnt start, all i could hear when i tried was like a motor sound or something buzzing. had someone jump start and my car started right away. sometimes car doesnt turn on when i clutch it, so i release and push back real quick then it starts
4. on a cold start the car idles at 3k for a bit, then drops after i drive a few minutes..and the accelerator pedal kinda feels a bit sticky until it drops idle..
5. i don't feel much of a throttle response when i floor it sometimes.. kinda feels groggy..
so yeah that's all the problems for now... if anyone can help reply here or text me 949-743-4155
thanks!

1. Clean the IACV and the FITV. Is the CEL ON?
2. Look for a leak from the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. Sometimes leaks from the master cylinder appear at the top of the clutch pedal.
3. Have the alternator and battery checked. Clean the battery posts, connectors, and ground wire. Check the clutch switch at the top of the clutch pedal.
4. See 1 and clean the throttle body.
5. Replace the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.

IACV cleaning
FITV cleaning
Just look around the area and carpet behind the clutch pedal for brake fluid.
Clean the throttle body with carburetor cleaner. You want to ensure that the throttle plate moves freely and that none of the ports are clogged.
