Electric Headlight adjusters....
Hey guys
Another (probably dumb!) question:
I've recently got an EP3 Civic type R, and need to get it on the road here in Germany. The safety check went through yesterday, and the only thing they've failed me on is the headlight aiming adjustment (electric) from the dash doesn't work on both the headlights. I've pulled all the fuses and checked them, but none were blown.
I don't have an owners manual (car didn't come with one) so may have to purchase one, but is this a common problem? any ideas on what must be something reasonably simple??? With both not going, it would suggest a fuse or something to me... Is there another relay/fuse panel somewhere (other than the one in the engine bay above the gearbox)??
Cheers!
Mike

Hey Mike,
This is hard for the U.S. guys to answer because our EP3s don't come with the headlight adjusters. Try posting this question on ephatch.com, a lot of people over there have installed UKDM/JDM headlights and can probably answer your question.
Good luck getting the R back on the road!

Also check the motors themselves. Found on the back of the headlight, looks like a small little box fitted to the light, right between the low and high beam, towards the bottom.
When I bought my CTR lights from Germany one of the motors was burnt out. The motor itself was literally charred and the plastic cover was melted a little. Not sure if this is a common problem with the motors.
Might be worth checking out though.
