tranny swap issues

Default tranny swap issues

ok so i swapped out my auto tranny for a manual. no problms there. easy swap. i get the motor back into the car and now i cant get it to start, i've tried everything. all the plugs are plugged in. so thats not the issue. im gettin no spark at the spark plugs... im using to stock auto wiring harness and ECU. any input from you honda gurus will be greatly appreiciated!PLEASE HELP. this is my only car

Did you connect the ground back on the transmission going to the frame? That caused me some weird issues before. Check that but if I remember correctly I was still getting fire and it just wouldn't run correctly. Other than that just check all your wiring.

we've checked the wiring like a thousand times. all the grounds are good. we were able to get the car ti run thins morning then it just stopped running altogether.

ok, any cels? What motor, chassie, ecu, and tranny, did you check my favorite relay (main relay)?

no cels. d16y7 its a 97 civic DX an auto ecu? and idk about the tranny. ill post a picture. havent checked main relay. where is that located

Idk how, but you have to make the car think it's in park with the auto ecu and harness. Forgot how, go search it. Should be nothing more than looping a wire to bypass a switch.

ive got the making the car think its in park issue figured out. its like 3 wires wired together. not sure. as far as i know its something to do with not gettin any spark right now

a m/t ecu will plug straight into my auto wiring harness? it wont give me any issues?

when i did my swap the auto ecu pluged right into the manual ecu with no problems. What did you do with the three wires to make it think its in park? I cant get the key out.
