Is it a sturdy engine?I am wondering how much longer I will have to abuse it before I have reasonable grounds to swap it.

 

It`s sturdy. If you take care of it it will keep going and going...

I got 135 hp out of a 102 hp motor with simple bolt-ons and some tuning.

 

i boosted my d15...but im already tired of it and gonna swap with my next tax return. im working something out with placeracing...i say have fun with it if u got the money for a back up motor. but if not...dont even put extra hp on it cuz d15 wont last..mine's almost shot

 

u can do a mini me d16z6 head vtec plugs and wires p28 ecu d1626 dist&intake manifold with injectors head gasket and exaust gasket timing belt from a 92-95 and u can get the ex tranny also that helps alot

 

88-91 stock si camshaft, about the same specs as the Gude cam
