Default Another ej1 coupe victim to the chop shop

I just recently moved to L.A. from Indiana. I've been here maybe 3 mths total and now the coupe i've had since I was sixteen (getting ready to turn 22) was stolen sometime last night. I left last nite around 9p.m. and my car was parked. I came out at 7a.m. this morning to go to work and it was gone. Not only am I extremely pissed, but heartbroken that my car is gone for real. Whoever the **** is behind this **** seriously needs to be put to a stop. Not only are they inconsiderate pieces of ****, they are totally out of line to come and take something that isn't thiers. Even though there is a slim chance that I find out who did it, they better hope and prey that I don't. I honestly don't know what to say. I don't know what goes thru these people's heads, or how they can even fathom the thought of just taking someone's vehicle and leaving them stranded when it's time to be at work.

Please, if anyone knows anything about it let me know, I will be checking back frequently to check. I'm sure nothing will turn up and if the police do find the car it will be torn to shreds anyhow. But I am offering a reward to anyone who can give me any information that helps me locate my car.

I have no recent photo's or anything of the car, but i'm sure you all know what an ej1 coupe looks like. The only distinguishing thing about my car was that it did still have an Indiana license plate on it, and had minor rust on the quarter panels right above the rear wheels, which is something you don't see a lot of in California. It had gloss black rota slipstreams on it, and an exhaust. It was also lowered 2 inches on skunk2 springs and kyb agx struts, which were just put on not even 2 weeks ago. I'm not giving out too much info on what the car had in it, which I don't think is relevant at this point. Also, the windshield had recently been scratched extremely bad due to one of my windshield wipers flying off on my drive here. I mean, the windshield from the bottom to the top was scratched.

The car was Flat Black, and was very, very clean for being a flat black civic with the exception of the rust. Any info is greatly appreciated, and even tho I know my car is probably gone, if I can recover it and it be in somewhat decent shape, I will re-build it, the car holds certain sentimental value to me. Thanks for your time and reading.

Sorry for your loss.

If it's any consolation, the thief was a pathetic excuse for a life.

I hope you get it back soon! I had my EJ stolen on the 17th from right in front of my house..same thing as you, i came out heading to work..to find it was gone. I lucked out and got it back the following week, on the 23rd! They stole my rims (15" black rotas) my ipod, the ECU, my entire glove box (really?) and swapped my oem hood for a shitty carbon fiber one (where they trying to fix it up?) anywho..i say all this to give you some hope that they can be recovered and with minimal damage! good luck..and f*ck those people!
