Default car alarm problem!

so i got my car page alarm installed like more than a month ago. the first two weeks were fine but after that my alarm kept going off for no reason. i am sure of it because i parked it in the driveway and it would just go off and when i go out my garage light isnt even on. it even goes off during the day with no one in sight. so i bring it back to the shop and the guy tries to fix it but it still goes off so i bring it back again and he said my pinswitch or w/e on the door jamb of my car is broken. could this be true or is he just dodging the problem by making stuff up?

It's possible I suppose, did your dome light ever randomly turn on before? It's really not likely.

Although I have never heard of Falcon alarms, most alarms have a "telltale", something that tells you what triggered the alarm, on most alarms you will get an extra chirp when disarming the alarm if it has triggered and the LED will flash a number of times to indicate what "zone" triggered the alarm.

Check your owners guide. 94
